Feed Kids 5K and Kids Run

Time:  8:00 am – 10:00 am

Location: Sedgwick County Park, Plum Shelter

Back for our 4^th year with a new name, The Feed Kids 5K and Kids Run, is an outreach ministry of Aldersgate United Methodist Church devoted to raising funds to support the Kansas Food Bank Food 4 Kids Program which provides food for school age children to eat over the weekend. 

Registration Fee: $25 / $15 (age 14 and under)

Provides 3 bags of food for the Food 4 Kids Program

Includes: race bib, finisher medal, and Feed Kids 5K keepsake

Event Schedule:

6:30 am – 7:30 am    Onsite Registration at Plum Shelter

8:00 am          Feed Kids 5K Start (USATF certified course # KS15030KH)

8:15 am – 10:00 am  Runners Circle Event: live music, food, activities.

9:00 am          1 mile Kids Run (Ages 14 and under)

9:30 am          Awards and Presentation to Kansas Food Bank

5k Awards:    

• Overall & Age Graded Overall Masters, Male & Female

Kids Run Awards:

•      Age Graded Top Finishers, Male & Female

Race Packet Pick up:

• Sunday, August 2 at Aldersgate UMC 10:30 am – 12:30 pm
• Friday, August 7, Aldersgate UMC 5:00 pm  - 8:00 pm
• Morning of Race @ Registration Booth

Course Information:

The race will start and finish at Sedgwick County Park, Plum Shelter, which is on the north side near the Playscape Playground. A course map will be posted soon.

 We are pleased to welcome back Competitor’s Choice as our timing specialist!

Our goal is to secure enough sponsors to offset the costs of the race so 100% of the registration fee can be donated to The Kansas Food Bank Food 4 Kids Program.
